Frequently asked questions

How much does a Mi Teleférico ride cost?

Bs 3 for the first line and Bs 2 for each transfer: a trip with one transfer costs Bs 5 and with two transfers Bs 7. The accredited reduced fare is Bs 1.50 plus Bs 1 per transfer. Transfers are not free.

What are the opening hours?

Monday to Saturday, 06:00 to 23:00. Sundays and public holidays, 07:00 to 21:00. A cabin leaves every 12 seconds, so you never wait for a departure, although there can be queues at the ticket desks at peak times.

Which attraction is best served?

The 16 de Julio market and the Ciudad Satélite viewpoint: both are a two-minute walk from their station. Plaza Murillo and the Witches' Market are a 10-12 minute walk uphill from the nearest station.

Can you reach Valle de la Luna by cable car?

No. No line reaches Valle de la Luna. The practical way is the Green Line to Irpavi and then a minibus or taxi for 15-20 minutes to Mallasa. We explain it in this guide.

How do I pay?

In cash at the ticket desk of any station, or with the Yala card, which you top up at stations and in the app. Queues are usually shorter with the card.
