White Line: route and key facts

The White Line of Mi Teleférico links Plaza Villarroel with Av. Poeta in about 12 minutes, with 4 stations over 2.9 km. It opened on 24 March 2018 and can carry up to 3,000 passengers per hour in each direction.

The White Line runs the length of Miraflores from north to south: from Plaza Villarroel it descends past Monumento Busch and Plaza Triangular to Av. Poeta (known for a while as San Jorge). It is the line that stitches the Orange, Brown and Light Blue lines together.

The White Line is the only one with three interchange nodes among its four stations: Plaza Villarroel (Orange), Monumento Busch (Brown) and Av. Poeta (Light Blue). In practice it is the hinge of the whole eastern half of the network.

End to end (Plaza Villarroel – Av. Poeta) the ride takes around 12 minutes. Because a cabin leaves every 12 seconds, there is virtually no waiting once you are through the gate.

The same as the rest of the network: Monday to Saturday, 06:00 – 23:00, and Sundays and public holidays, 07:00 – 21:00. Scheduled maintenance can close the line for a few days a year.

The standard fare is Bs 3 (about US$0.45). If this line is a transfer within your trip, you pay Bs 2 extra. The reduced fare is Bs 1.50 plus Bs 1 per transfer. You can pay at the ticket window or with the QR code of the Yala card.

You can change at Plaza Villarroel, Monumento Busch, Av. Poeta. The change happens inside the station, but each additional line costs Bs 2 more.
